Like many of the testimonials I read on your website I had to change my life style in order to "hide" my excessive sweating. “It's been one month and two weeks since I've been using Maxim. I wrote you the first day I used it (03/28/01) and was dry. Well, I'm using it less and it's still working. I had ordered two bottles and gave one to my brother-in-law. He never opened it and I asked for it back because I thought for sure I'd go through the first bottle quick. It's still filled more than half way and I'm using it about twice a week. I work-out hard at a co-ed gym 5 times a week. “IT'S A MIRACLE!!! - I don't know if this is going to the right person or not, but I have to let you know that your product is truly a miracle. As a 41 year-old, lifetime, self-proclaimed "excessive sweater", I've had the sweat rings that almost touch each other. I'm self-concious about hugging my children, and I can't kiss my wife without wiping my face off first. I've tried "pit socks", female hygene products, shoulder pads (used under the shoulder of course...). In spite of it all, I'm very competent and successful in my career. “I just wanted to drop you a line to give you an update on my situation. In mid-July, I purchased your product to try and combat my hyperhydrosis (my over active armpits). For years I have had to wear two (2) shirts, regardless of the weather. My hyperhydrosis guaranteed that I was going to drench and ruin what I was wearing closest to my body. Better an inexpensive undershirt than a quality golf shirt, oxford, etc. Over time, this created an inventory of rather disgusting shirts in my wardrobe (heaven forbid someone ever look in my closet). Wardrobe aside, it also impacted my confidence in groups. Even if they didn't actually care, in my mind I was preoccupied and obsessed about the ever present sweat stains (they even soaked through the under shirt). “I just have to let you know about my experience. I am a 21-year-old male and I've been suffering with excessive sweating under my arms for about seven years. It made my life so hard in school, going through the day soaking wet, not being able to raise my arm in class. And it really put a damper on my social life, making me never want to go out and do things or socialize because of my fear of someone seeing the embarrassing large wet spots under my arms. “Greetings! I haven't suffered with HH for all that long. I actually think it started shortly after 9/11, as a result of the trauma I watched unfold before my very eyes (I can't remember suffering from it beforehand). Since then, I would constantly switch shirts, put insane amounts of antiperspierant (some shirts are now stiff at the armpit area), or even put hand towels in my armpits. I really was having a tough time with it. I would constantly check my armpits to see if they were sweating, and if so (which they usually were) how much. It was embarassing. “2/14/02 - I have always been a heavy sweater which was fine and expected during athletic events and training. However, I would also sweat under the arms profusely while in church or in meetings or even just watching TV. I could never wear anything other than white or dark blue or black shirts to hide the huge sweat patches under and all around my armpits. I would even sweat through my suit coat and leave salt rings on the outer edges. This was no small problem and although this sounds rediculous I even tried putting some of my wife's maxi-pads under my arms. This worked ok but the pads kept slipping down into my shirt. When I started school I noticed I had this sweating going on. It didn’t matter what situation I was in, just the act of talking to people would turn on this “waterfall.” It was humiliating. Having sever underarm perspiration was a nightmare. I'd try wearing all-cotton undershirts, and still it would soak through to the outer shirt I was wearing. “5-12-04 - Dear Corad, I have to tell you that when I was reading through the testimonials I was very skeptical. How could a product work that well when I had never even heard of it? I was actually looking through a search engine for something else that I saw on a television show when I ran across your product. I can't believe that I've lived this long with sweat marks on my clothes! I have had an excessive amount of sweating under my arms since I was in Junior High. It was very embarrassing to me and I tried many ways to cover it up. I would even try to use an aerosol anti-perspirant after class, because that shot of cold on my armpits felt great and I hoped it might help to cool me off. Needless to say, it didn't. I can't tell you how happy I am with this product and how much it has changed my life. I never raised my hand to volunteer an answer to a question, or stand up in front of a crowd. “9/28/04 - I just had to email you guys right away to thank you for your product. I received my bottle of Maxim yesterday and I couldn't wait until bedtime just so I could try it out. I am 21 years old and have suffered from excessive sweating since around the 4th grade, age 11. I have always pinpointed my own problem to genetics, since my mother and her mother were both the same way. "You'll get used to it honey", they'd say. "It will subside over time, and your nerves won't be so out of whack". When I would iquire when this nighttmare would end, they'd tell me, "Oh...around 40 or so. It's not so bad after that". 40??? No matter what I tried to do, nothing seemed to ever work. Wintertime was the worst because I would sweat straight through bulky sweaters and sweatshirts. At least sweating in the summertime isn't so unusual. School was a nighttmare because I never wanted to raise my hand or stand in front of people - and let's not even get started on dating. Oh, I tried every trick in the book. Layering shirts, wearing white or black all of the time, buying sweater shirts so that I could still keep cool and hide my huge sweat circles. I sewed rags into old shirts to wear under my outer shirts so that it would sop it up, and that didn't even work. Nothing worked. I would even dress for places, be sweated up before I left my house, and use my hair dryer to blow out the circles. I became really dependent on hand driers in one-person restrooms-at least they did the trick for a little while. It was just a mess, and I couldn't stand it anymore. For years I never thought that there was a product that could actually stop my underarm sweating. I thought that I was going to lead a lifetime of embarrassing underarm sweating. “3/02/05 - I have to say I was skeptical in that I did not believe your product could stop the excessive underarm sweating I have experienced for 25 years. When I was 13 I even went to a hypnotherapist without success in order to try to control it. Ultimately I learned to just adapt. In doing more research I came across your site. I had tried Rx products many many years ago and they never worked. Well, I tried it and gave it the ultimate test as I had a job interview. As anyone knows who suffers from this condition, being nervous doesn't necessarily cause the sweating, but it can definately make it worse. I came home and ... nothing! My t-shirt was not even wet. Normally I would have sweated through 3 layers of clothing. I was actually kind of freaked out. I did notice that for best results I needed to shower and wash my underarms before applying at night. It did seem to interact with my regular anti-perspirant and caused some itching and redness but washing any other product off seems to solve that problem. And putting my normal anti-perspirant on in the morning after another shower caused no interaction and did not diminish the effect of Maxim. I would live with some redness anyway. I have only tried it a few times so far but an excellent product. Definitely worth a try. On another note, I e-mailed with a status and received a very quick response. “4/06/05 - I recently ordered Maxim for the first time. I was more than a bit skeptical as I had tried nearly every over the counter anti-sweat product on the market and had little to no success. I read various things about Maxim online and finally decided to take the plunge. Literally within two days of using it, I was walking around on a warm, sunny afternoon, with a dress shirt on with NO UNDERSHIRT underneath it and had absolutely no sweat stains whatsoever! I was completely shocked. Thinking that it was a fluke or maybe because I was in a low stress environment that day, I figured the next day at work would be the real test. I must add here that I work in an environment where dress and appearance standards are held in very high regard. “7-14-05 - I am amazed that a product like this exists, and appalled that I only just now found out about it. My life would have been so much better if I had been using Maxim a decade ago! I have dealt with severe underarm sweating since the onset of adolesence, and have found nothing that has helped even partially. I remember reading the testimonials on the web site and thinking "yeah right, I'm just setting myself up for disappointment".Well, I decided to order it and I've been sweat free for 4 days now.
