“Dear Maxim, I can't begin to tell you what an amazing blessing your product is. I have suffered from excessive under-arm sweat my entire life, I am now 28 years old. “It's been one month and two weeks since I've been using Maxim. I wrote you the first day I used it (03/28/01) and was dry. Well, I'm using it less and it's still working. I had ordered two bottles and gave one to my brother-in-law. He never opened it and I asked for it back because I thought for sure I'd go through the first bottle quick. “I just have to let you know about my experience. I am a 21-year-old male and I've been suffering with excessive sweating under my arms for about seven years. It made my life so hard in school, going through the day soaking wet, not being able to raise my arm in class. “8/8/02 - Several years ago I experienced excessive sweating under the arm pits, to start with I tried to combat the problem with more spray on anti-perspirernet, this never worked, so I then tried all spray-on and roll-on products that were on the market. The end result was I found a roll on that was naturally based that would stave off the problem for an extra hour at the start of a day. This was hardly suitable. The effect on life was that the only shirts I could wear socially were black ones, and for work, luckily we have corporate tee shirts, but on visits you have to wear something under the shirt or else you end up with an embarrassing situation. I obviously then tried to do something about the problem, the first stop was with a national health doctor, he prescribed and alcohol based product containing aluminium.The application instructions were as yours, however, after about 1/2 hour the skin would be burnt, leaving red not quite broken skin. They then prescribed a steroid cream to counteract the burning. This then became a bit of joke and I stopped using both products, although it would have some effect in stopping the problem. I then turned to a private doctor who went down a different route, I do have a job which can cause stress from time to time, but I am used to the stress, but went along with him all the same, he prescribed me beater blockers to ' calm' my nerves, but having looked into what they did I stopped after a couple of weeks, the treatment had also had absolutely no effect. I then went back to national health doctors and 'demanded' soe action, they then sent me to a local hospital with a specialised dermatology department. The Doctor there put me on a course of electrolysis treatment, so twice a week, for an hour at a time over a two month period I would sit in a room being electrocuted by pads under my arms, totally un-pleasant, and again no effect. The after about a year I was called for by the doctor assigned to treat me, he then told me of a new process in which 'botulinum' would be injected in the area as an experiment, this was the first time such a treatment had been made in the area and myself and a lady with a problem on her hands were selected to experiment on. The treatment did work, but was very painful, it would last for around 5/7 weeks before returning, in the end I would have about 14-16 injections in each arm pit, and it was better not to have the local anesthetic injection before hand. Due to the level of pain for a short time frame I didn't continue with the treatment, I wasn't sure that if I continued with this, there would be future problems further down the line. The Maxim product was a chance discovery on the net, I had never seen it before, and the fact that it wasn't alcohol based drew my attention to it, so I purchased a bottle. The results were very good, there is a slight amount of 'itching' about 1 hour after application, but that is it, I followed the directions and my problem stopped completely with no burning within days, I can wear any colour shirt at any time, sounds such a small thing, but is great to have the choice. So after about 3 years I have found a effectively treat for the problem. Shortly after buying the product I saw the specialist doctor who as assigned to treat me in the bank I use, we chatted and I told him about the product, he had never heard of it before, and pretty much dismissed the results, and what I had to say.”

“10/13/02 - To The Maxim Group, The day I found your site had been one of the most disappointing for my 17 year old daughter and myself. Six months before she had "shamefully" admitted to me that she had a heavy perspiration problem. I had no idea she was troubled by this. But she tearfully told me she always was wearing baggy shirts or sweatshirts because any thing that she wore close to her body would be soaked and deodorant stained in a matter of minutes. I said that I knew of a medication that she could get through the dermatologist that should help. The dermatologist prescribed the medication, I got it,she started using it. I have never felt it necessary to write any company before, but this product is just too special to not want to inform others about it. Anyone who is wavier in the decision on weather or not these result are real, I GUARENTEE they are! I was an at home Mom. When my children got older I went back to school. When I started school I noticed I had this sweating going on. It didn’t matter what situation I was in, just the act of talking to people would turn on this “waterfall.” It was humiliating. “4/13/03 - I have suffered from axillary hyperhidrosis or hyperhydrosis and excessive sweating ever since I can remember. I can remember using several dress shields at one time (per arm) to try to prevent my underarm sweat from showing. I would have to change the dress shields every 2 - 3 hours because they were totally saturated within those few hours. Not only was that uncomfortable it was also expensive and even with wearing those dress shields I still had to wear dark colors. “9/3/03 - Hi, I live in the Cayman Islands, Caribbean, and I have a disgusting "disease". Which I have just recently learned about. I thought it was normal and that everyone else was like me, sweating all the time. I started to notice and feel consious of the symptoms when I began in the working force. All of my blouses by 10:00 would be soaked with "armpit patches" so by the end of the day I would smell. This was uncomfortable and embarrassing, I didn't understand it. So I looked up on the internet "Excess Sweating", Maxim's Website came up and I read up on it. Even during the coldest winter days, her bus would not have even arrived at school before she could feel the wetness under her arms. In fact, several different websites recommended it, including some informational sites that merely discussed the options excessive sweaters have, including xx. “3-29-04 - I just wanted to let you all know how happy I am to have purchased your product. In my line of work, I have to present myself to audiences and clients. Having sever underarm perspiration was a nightmare. I'd try wearing all-cotton undershirts, and still it would soak through to the outer shirt I was wearing. To my horror, I even sweated through two undershirts, a regular golf shirt, AND the underarms of a spring jacket. I applied Maxim as directed and the next day, I already noticed a significant change. I waited a day and applied it again, as directed. Again, more significant results. “3-29-04 -I've had issues with sweating profusely under the arms ever since I can remember. I would even sweat when I was outside in 30 °F weather. It is so embarrassing and it truly makes you live your life differently. I've mainly dealt with the issue by wearing black all the time, I'm even known for always wearing black shirts at my place of work. My closet is full of black T-shirts, dress shirts, sweatshirts, etc. I recently got fed up with it and started looking into the issue on the internet. That is were I found Maxim. “5-12-04 - Dear Corad, I have to tell you that when I was reading through the testimonials I was very skeptical. How could a product work that well when I had never even heard of it? I was actually looking through a search engine for something else that I saw on a television show when I ran across your product. “5-19-04 - Dear Maxim, I recently purchased your product because I was getting very desperate and was looking for possible solutions everywhere I turned. With the constant sweating early in the morning even after getting out of the shower and putting shirt on for the day and going out on dates and or out with friends and wearing nice shirts and constanting knowing my shirt would be drenched by the end of the night. I had nowhere else to turn, until I saw your product come up in a search engine for prescription deodorant, which was just a thought I had to my problem. Only with the convienence and reported reputation did I decide to give Maxim a try. Only then did I have no idea that I could go all day without sweating until it arrived on my doorstep and gave it a try before going to bed that night. It was unbelievable, throughout the entire I guess my mind couldn't over the fact that I wasn't sweating, every half and hour or so without doing it on purpose I'd reach up with my hand and expect to feel drops of sweat pouring down my arm, then and only then did I realize I couldn't pull my hand away to find wetness, it was a miracle. So I started using Maxim each night before going to bed b/c using it starting in the morning definitely didn't work b/c it didn't give the product the time to shrink my pores and not allow sweat to pass through unless maybe I was running 28 mile marathon for some kind of cancer or disease. So, with this product in mind I don't even feel the urge to book an appointment with my doctor to try and prescribe an actual prescription deodorant directed by my doctor. I will stand behind MAXIM that much, that there will never be a need too. My next step is to see what's the maximum amount of deodorants I can buy at once and it says it right in the TITLE, "MAXIM" and it's called that because you get the maximum amount of protection out of one bottle for each daily use with the strength of a prescription deodorant that it is the only solution for my constant excessive sweating or otherwise known as Hyperhidrosis and yet you don't have to go to the trouble off getting it through a doctor. Just order it online and boom your problems are solved, no more worrying about lifting your arms while going out with friends during the day or worried about your date locking her arm in yours and worried about her feeling the consistent wetness in your underarm and even though it's natural, it's looked upon as being nervous or looked at as not being comfortable and that is a problem in it's self. I've had problems with excessive sweating under my arms since I was a teen (now 41). I've been to doctors and have taken hundreds, if not thousands of dollars worth of pills for anxiety and other 'causes', and nothing seemed to help. I've even considered the xx to xx(whatever they do) the sweat glands to my underarms. While doing an internet search for possible home remedies to alleviate this problem, I came across you site and decided, "why not?" Let me tell you, I haven't been disappointed. I put Maxim on the night I received it, and from the first day, it has kept me dry and comfortable. I could not be happier with this product. I don't have to worry about raising my arms, I can buy shirts that I want to wear instead of colors or patterns that hide wet stains best, and it has raised my confidence and self-esteem. I have lived with this problem for years, and now I don't even think about it. I don't even have to use it everyday...it really works! I do have one small problem with it though. When I first started putting it on at night, it burned more than I liked and for longer than the 10 minutes your brochure says it may. You recommend switching to the Sensitive one. I would like to place an order for the four pack of Maxim, but would like to try the Sensitive one first before I order four. If it doesn't work for me, I can live with the burning of the regular Maxim. I have, however, eliminated most of the burning by putting it on just prior to going to bed (instead of an hour or so before) and by reducing the amount I use by applying just a couple of strokes to each arm and not tilting the bottle to recoat the ball. And, if that fails, I know the product still works even if I wash it off only an hour after I put it on. I guess what I'm getting at is, should I try the Sensitive one? How do I go about getting a Sensitive replacement for the regular Maxim I have now? I guess what irritates me the most is, when I first sought medical help, I asked the doctor if there is an antiperspirant stronger than the ones available at the discount stores. If he would have told me about this product years ago, I could have saved money and a lot of embarrassment. “6/15/06 - Hello, I want to thank you for this product. I was having a very difficult time finding a deodorant that would prevent me from sweating. I didn't have to be hot for the problem to start. I was so embarrassed that I didn't want to wear sleeveless tops or anything that was fitted close to the body. “1/9/07 - I recently recieved my first order of Maxim anti-perspirant. I remember reading the testimonials on the web site and thinking "yeah right, I'm just setting myself up for disappointment".Well, I decided to order it and I've been sweat free for 4 days now. During those days, I've performed in front of people as an active musician (guitarplayer and singer) and also went to the dentist to have a tooth filled. Both of these situations usually cause my underarms to flood my shirts. Any situation you can think of that causes anxiety is when I've always experienced excessive sweating and hyperhidrosis. “4/4/07 - just wanted to add my two cents. your product works great. i'd purchased yours and also purchased drysol the same week. drysol had a stinging effect i could do without, but b/c i suffer from hyperhidrosis on my torso area, i need it for that. but maxim i am using strickly for my underarms. it's a miracle. i didn't use it for a while during the winter b/c i can hide most of my sweating with big sweaters and jackets, but the minute the weather changed and it starting hitting 60deg again, i recommenced using it and it's still amazingly working. i'm a person who has a 2 minute walk to the bus stop from my apt building, and there were days i'd have to turn around, as the bus was coming, to go back home b/c i was too soaked. then be late to work. try explaining THAT to your boss. it was either that, or always carry around a bag full of clothes i could change in once i got to work b/c i knew my clothing would be transparent from the sweat. my mom would say, "oh, just cary a towel with you," but it wasn't that simple. it wasn't just sweat b/c it was hot or b/c i was fat, or b/c i was working out. this was a year-round problem that limited the colors and materials i would wear, and limited my movement and activities and limited my confidence in myself for so long. i used to be very obese, all through childhood, so i always thought the sweating was b/c of the extra weight, as did everyone else who stereotypes overweight people. but when i lost all the weight and still had the problem (seemed worse, in fact), i knew it was more than just a side-effect of being big. i sweat like crazy at the gym, which is ok to a point, but i've had people ask me, "how's the pool?", when i just came off the treadmill. i was written up at work once for wearing a spaghetti strap shirt in the office, when in fact, i had just taken my jacket off and was trying to let the air conditioning evaporate all the perspiration off my body. i remember standing at the train station and feeling the sweat dripping down my armpits, down the sides of my stomach and eventually down my legs. imagine how embarrassing this was as i'm standing there in a dress or skirt, trying to discretely wipe between my legs. people probably thought i was going to the bathroom on myself. it would make me so mad. and if i got on the train and air conditioning wasn't working, that'd be the last straw for me. it was guaranteed i'd be in a bad mood the rest of the day. i would avoid going out to lunch with coworkers, or taking a walk around the neighborhood with my colleagues b/c i knew i'd be drenched. i'd rather stay indoors, with the a/c keeping me dry. people thought i was unsociable and soon just stopped inviting me. it's a frustrating condition to have b/c people belittle it so much, not to be mean, but just b/c they don't have a clue as to how supressing it can be. my stories are as endless as all the other people who have written to you, but i'm glad that you have taken the time and effort to research this condition and find something that works and can help our endless stories finally come to an end. i have a question: if i took your roll on and used it on my back area and my front torso (i tend to sweat right between and under my breast region, do you think your product would work? the drysol really has a feel to it that is so uncomfortable. i don't think it's made to cover such a large area. plus i have to cover the area with plastic and such, it's hard to wrap my entire torso with plastic wrap! and once i have it on, the stinging is so overwhelming, i want to jump in a shower to wash it off, but of course, that doesn't work. so i'm wondering if maxim would do anything. i know the skin of my underarms is different of that on my back and chest area. in fact, when i rolled maxim on the area between my breasts, it turned red and swelled up and itched. i was glad i didn't go gungho and roll it all over my back as well. what do you think? i can't find much info on hyperhidrosis of the torso as i do the other areas. any suggestions?stay healthy,-sp-”
